New Product Development

As the Huletts range changes and expands to meet the evolving needs of the South African marketplace, its core values and quality never waver. From pure white sugar known for its ‘sweet sweet’ taste to a renowned range of speciality baking sugars, the Huletts range now includes innovative low-kilojoule and low-GI products such as SUGAlite baking premixes for scones and muffins – the first of their kind on SA shelves and winner of Nielsen’s 2012 Product of the Year award for Innovation.

The non-nutritive sweetener range now includes EquiSweet with Stevia and EquiSweet with Sucralose, in addition to EquiSweet Regular, all available in sachet and tablet formats. These developments are in line with international sweetening trends towards naturally sourced alternatives.

Huletts will continue to look to meet the sweetening needs of our consumers through new product development as we continue in our endeavour to make every day sweeter.
