Cape Sweeteners

Cape Sweeteners, owned by Tongaat Hulett Sugar South Africa, specialises in the development and manufacture of intense sweetener blends and complete sweetening systems. The type of blend is determined by the type of end product application and processes involved in the manufacture thereof. Blends are formulated in such a way to give as close a match as possible to the profile of sucrose with no 'bitter' after-taste in the final application.

Cape Sweeteners is the exclusive South African agent for NutraSweet (Aspartame and Neotame).

PRODUCTS

Cape Sweeteners supplies the following sweeteners and bulking agents: Aspartame, Neotame, Acesulfame-K, Fructose (Crystalline and Liquid), Sodium Saccharin, Sodium Cyclamate, Polydextrose, Neotame and Sucralose.

The sweetener combinations include double, triple or quadruple blends - with no negative aspects on finished products.
